The types of trainers for difference workouts
Resistance training: When it comes to resistance training, look for trainers with a stiffer heel. In strength training you want shoes with more of a flatter sole.
Running: When you hit the floor during a run, you can put three times your body weight through your foot. Making sure you have adequate cushioning underfoot is what you need to look out for.
Trail running: Trail shoes have more grip and support whereas road shoes tend to be more cushioned due to the harder surface. Decide where you will be running the most, pavements or at the gym – or across the countryside?
